Driving Directions to the Mountain Lake Park Tennis Club
From the East (Hancock, MD):
Take Interstate Route 68 West from Hancock to Exit 14B at Maryland Route 219 South. Follow this route South past Deep Creek Lake to Sand Flat Road (gas station on corner). Follow Sand Flat Road all the way across to Maryland Route 135 (a flashing red light). Turn Right onto Rte. 136 and continue through one stop light (Post Office on right). The tennis courts will be quite visible on your first left shortly after the stop light.
From the West (Morgantown, WV):
Take Interstate Route 68 East from Morgantown to Exit 14A at Maryland Route 219 South. Follow this route South past Deep Creek Lake to Sand Flat Road (gas station on corner). Follow Sand Flat Road all the way across to Maryland Route 135 (a flashing red light). Turn Right onto Rte. 136 and continue through one stop light (Post Office on right). The tennis courts will be quite visible on your first left shortly after the stop light.
Alternatively, you may leave the interstate at Route 42 near Friendsville, MD (there will be signs for Deep Creek Lake) and climb the hill from Friendsville to the intersection with Rte. 219 South. From there, follow directions as above to reach the tennis courts.
